US-based Mediaspectrum has turned its attention to the Asia Pacific as part of a “priority” global expansion.

The Boston-based company has recruited former DTI Asia Pacific managing director David Page to lead a push from India to Japan and including Australia and New Zealand.

As regional managing director, Page says he is delighted to be showcasing the industry-leading media-management platform.

“Media companies have evolved and many traditional editorial and advertising systems are not able to provide effective solutions to keep up with the new trends. With Mediaspectrum, industry leaders are provided an entirely unique and proven environment to consolidate their IT and rapidly adapt to the changing media landscape,” he says.

Page has more than 35 years’ experience in the newspaper industry, from a composing apprenticeship at one of the UK’s oldest newspapers to most recently leading DTI’s Asia Pacific operations prior to that company’s reorganisation as Newscycle Solutions.

He says today’s mobile and multichannel media – especially advertising – has new complexities with combining the integrated processing of proposal generation, packaging, scheduling, rating, workflow, trafficking, optimisation and billing.

Cloud-based Mediaspectrum offers a single platform that unites processes in the ad lifecycle, reducing costs for businesses while increasing revenues by making it easier to manage, produce and sell.

David Page is a member of INMA and former member of the World Association of Newspapers, associate of the Institute of Printing, WAN/IFRA Information Processing Committee, British Printing Industries Confederation and the Steering Committee for the UK’s Newstec exhibition and conference.
