Recap from Mediaspectrum’s Inaugural Customer Summit
Earlier this month, Mediaspectrum had the privilege to host an international gathering of more than 50 of its client and partner executives for the company’s first annual Customer Summit 2014. The group represented an impressive list of attendees from a variety of industries. All with the common goal in mind, to share ideas and best practices for leveraging technology that will help businesses to integrate operations; eliminate nuisances that delay innovation; and produce valuable insights and information to give customers exactly what they need, when they need it.
Several of our largest niche publishing clients were central to the sessions, including Gannett and Trinity Mirror both recounting their experiences using our CORE software supply chain. Gannett shared how the platform has taken them to the next level in automating workflow and elevating the sales experience delivered to their customers. While Trinity Mirror focused on IT modernization and consolidation, noting Mediaspectrum CORE helped them to centralize and simplify all aspects of editorial workflow, resulting in 40% production savings.
Some of the hottest topics in business today were further explored: mobile publishing, micropayments, and the future of customer experience and loyalty programs. With additional use case discussions led by Publicitas, local.ch and xentive that demonstrated the wide global reach our platform has realized in recent years. Media sales organizations, directories and agencies can all relate when it comes to requiring the right platform to stay competitive, agile and profitable. Colleagues were challenged to gather courage for transformation, while also be willing to change the process before attempting to overhaul their IT landscape.
The Summit proved to be a solid week of thought leadership and candid conversations about the realities of transforming enterprises into the competitive powerhouses they must become to survive. An altogether great success…and did we mention it took place in sunny Miami Beach? Seems to go hand-in-hand with gathering new perspective and inspiration!
Thanks to all who participated. We’re already looking forward to Summit 2015.
